Ritalin .... am I taking a placebo?

Hi.

My pdoc finally prescribed Ritalin to help give me boost out of my depression. He started me on just 10 mg because I am bipolar and also take an MAOI. Well, I felt a little for less than hour and then crashed hard and couldn't stop crying. I did this for two days and called my pdoc.

So precribed the Ritalin SR at 20 mg twice day. I took it today and I didn't feel anything.

Shouldn't I feel something? Anything?

Maybe I should try Adderall.
