Here my experience with the two. Wellbutrin made me very anxious. Provigil didn't agitate my anxiety much. In addition to helping me with some sleepiness it also gave me a subtle brightening of mood but is unpredictable. As I'm sure you know you may have a different reaction.
I tried them both while not on any other drugs. I have no idea what the they would have been like while on an SSRI.
