Effexor withdrawal, how long stage one?

Hiya,
Three days ago i reduced by effexor intake by about half. So far i've had no withdrawal symptoms and am feeling much better in my self. I decided to come off as my weight gain is making me more depressed.
Does anyone know how long i should stay at this stage before i cut the dose down again?
