I've been taking this drug since the beginning of the year. At first, I was taking 1mg per day of the Purpac generic brand. I noticed a very minimal but consistent effect of the drug. It seemed best to take it very early and then around noon. Now I take 1 or 2 mg of the Roche brand, which seems slightly more powerful.
I've had two colds, and food poisioning this year, and during these times I STOPPED taking the drug altogether. I noticed no withdrawl symptoms whatsoever.
Currently, I haven't taken the drug for about one week during spring break. I just haven't needed it because I haven't been around people.
I will start taking it again consistently when I go back to school. It does work, reduces social anxiety greatly (usually within one or two doses), and appears to have no side-effects and seems to be completely non-addictive. For me, anyway.
I hope this helps for anyone thinking for trying it for social problems.
