Hello,
I have been taking Stangyl (trimipramine) for 6 months for sleep. It works great but I have gained 22 lbs and no matter what I try can not get rid of the cravings for sweets. This is somewhat typical for Stangyl.
After alot of talking my Doctor wants to switch me slowly to Seroquel. My son takes Seroquel for sleep and it has helped him wonderfully (he can sleep and has no night terrors any more). He gained no weight.
I am wondering if anyone here came off of trimipramine and was able to stick to a diet easier due to the cravings for sweets and carbs lessening.
Thankyou!
Dana
