I have also heard of some people returning to a med and needing to raise the dose the 2nd time.
I can think of 3 options:1) raise the dose of Lexapro by 10 mg (even if you never went off of it the first time, you still might have eventually needed a dose increase)
2) keep the dose the same and add Wellbutrin3) if neither of the above work after a couple of weeks, do both
I took 20 mg of Lexapro for a year, then 30 mg for a month, then added Wellbutrin which allowed me to decreased the Lexapro back to 20 mg.
I now take 50 mg Wellbutrin SR twice a day (I cut the 100 mg pill in half). If I take the whole thing at once, I get too jittery. But lots of people can tolerate higher doses of Wellbutrin.
The Wellbutrin has been helping with the sexual side effects of Lexapro.
