New to Klonopin for sleep

Hi all! Can any one tell me how soon to take Klonopin at night for sleep? I guess I just want to know how soon it starts working usually.
My doctor started me on it today, and tonight is my first. Little scared , ya know? O.5mg.
Any more info would be great!!
