What is your dose of effexor? I didnt get any relief until I got up to 300mg, then 450. As for energy, wellbutrin might help, although it might cause insomnia or make anxiety worse. It also potentiated effexor for me, and I think is kind of a common combo. Provigil might help too, which for most people doesnt worsen anxiety. Oh and if you would like to try reboxetine like someone mentioned, strattera, which is licensed in the usa for ADD (Im assuming you are in the US), is essentially the same thing and docs are using it for depression. I hope you find something to help you feel better.
