If your physical came back ok your lightheadedness is most likely a symptom of anxiety/panic attacks...and is very common...when your body's fight/flight response is overstimulated one of the physiological reactions is that blood flows away from your head and belly and to your limbs..which allows you to "flee"...as the lexapro helps you with getting your nervous system back in check, the lightheadedness should become less frequent..in the meantime try taking 5-10 breaths slowly through your nose and into your belly if you feel yourself becoming lightheaded..this calms the body down and gets your blood flow back to where it should be..
good luck with the lexapro!> Hi all, I am new to this board. I have recently been prescribed Lexapro - on my 6th day now.

Ever since this started I began almost obsessing about my health, thinking I haved a brain tumor, etc..... I am constantly reading about symptoms, etc and waiting for new symptoms to pop up - it reallly interferes w/ daily life.
