I have been taking Nardil for 12 years, and with the exception of the last few months, when Pfizer changed Nardil's formula and it started to mess with me, I really don't think I have experienced any side effects since the first few months of taking Nardil. I should note, however, that I am taking a fairly low dose of Nardil (either 15mg or 30mg a day, on alternating days). I did gain about 15lbs when I first starting taking Nardil, and I guess I have kind of come to terms with the fact that ADs tend to have this effect on you, so I have to monitor my diet fairly closely to keep from overeating. However, I _did_ manage to lose all the weight from this diet monitoring and some exercise, so this 'side effect' is not insurmountable.
I don't have too much experience re: social phobia (I take Nardil for atypical depression w/anxiety) but it has been my understanding that it might require more Nardil than what I take. It might do you well to ask some of the folks on this board who take more Nardil than me what their experiences with side effects have been.
I'm curious! Let's take a survey! As for sexual side effects, I haven't noticed any difference. I am female, though, and I suppose sexual side effects might be more subtle for women, but I believe I would have noticed something, and I haven't. So there you go.
