Ace,
Thanks for the kind comments! I told you we agree on most things.
As far as the CBT goes, no I don't do it every day. If I feel a relapse coming on, I quickly implement my old strategies, but more and more, I feel it is becoming a part of my natural thought processes, and I do the techniques almost subconsciously now. It took months of beating it into my head, even though I thought it wasn't working...now I feel "rewired", so to speak.
I feel terrific these days. My social life is better than ever, as I am virtually free of social phobia and panic attacks induced from personal interactions. I'm far from depressed, my mood is generally excellent, and Klonopin kills any residual anxiety / derealization.
I feel very grateful and fortunate to have recovered so fully. I also graduate from dental school in about 4 months!
Take care bud, and I'm thrilled you continue to do so well.
Matt
