qbs,
I suffer from absessions and rumination as well. I believe that ocd falls under the Anxiety umbrella and then of course depression goes hand in hand with it. Obsessions are tough to crack I have been recommended a book called "Stop Obsessing!" however I have been unsuccessful thus far. Luxox is a good drug for obsessions but CBT is supposed to be a first choice to beat it. Like youself have lost a large portion of my life to rumination that I cannot get away from unless very distracted? I am trying Strattera as ADAH people sometimes obsess to try and make sense of their world. Hopefuly you have a good psyD to helpn you with this. Sorry i cannot offer more support but situations like yours have been beaten and you can do it!

> I thought that my head felt weird. Saw every doctor in the world with no results. A neuro and a opthamologist thought I might have (atypical migraine,w/o pain).
> She prescribed nortriptyline about a 1.5 years ago, but only took it for a week. I just started it again.
> I've been on lexapro 10mg for about a year, with no success, just upped it to 20mgs.
> Any ideas?
