Bipolars and Mood Stabilizers

Hi, I am new to this forum. My concern is about being BP2 and not being able to tolerate any of the mood stabilizers. I have to stop every one of them due to intolerable side effects.
Is there anyone else here who is BP and not on a mood stabilizer and doing well? I wonder if it's possible to be on an atypical antipsychotic and still do well?
