Hopefully depression won't occur for you if you are thinking of or already have stopped taking an antidepressant.
When I went off Effexor, it took about 1-1/2 months to feel the depression creeping back up, but when I had been off it for about 2-3 months, I landed in the hospital this past May and had to have my meds changed. Effexor didn't work for me anymore.
There's always a chance that if you stick it out, you may 'make it' and that would be awesome. Only you know how strong you are, and if you are willing and able to do so.
Good luck and hang in there:-)

> Does anyone know the general time of relapse if depression is going to occur after AD withdrawal? It probably differs from person to person, I know. But is there a guesstimate? Say 6 months? Is there a time when it seems that depression is coming back but if I stick it out (just like I stuck out the side effects from AD's) I might make it. Any positive experiences of going off AD's for good? (And just staying on Klonopin for anxiety?)
