Hi KRM,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. . .I'm a bit confused regarding your Klonopin. You said that you quit cold turkey and yet you are still taking it on again/off again. "Cold turkey" means a sudden and complete stoppage. So, what exactly are you doing with the Klonopin now?
From what I gather, it seems that if you've been taking some of it every few days, you've maybe managed to avoid the unpleasant, possibly serious effects of sudden withdrawal.
But I also wonder about your doctor. It sounds like there's some essential communication lacking on both sides. I suggest you get in touch with him and get yourself back on track regarding the Klonopin, and set yourself a definitive tapering schedule--just to be on the safe side.. As far as your other meds are concerned, I have no experience with them, but you need to have a knowledgeable pdoc to guide you through a gradual tapering. And don't make assumptions on your own (e.g. short half-life, etc.). Consult with a good pdoc and if you have doubts about him/her, then post your questions here first before making any drastic changes.
