Extended-release meprobamate

My grandmother wanted me to ask about this as she's been taking meprobamate for about 35 years now and would like to switch to the extended-release form. Only problem is, I can't find any evidence that an extended-release formulation is even manufactured anymore. Anyone have any info on this?
