EEG in medication management and dx

Shawn or anyone,
Does anyone have any information on using EEG as part of a psychiatric workup? My pdoc has implemented an EEG screen to monitor medication changes (for selected patients) and perhaps as a mechanism helpful in diagnosing OCD.

Shawn, have you come across any studies on EEG? Especially, for depression and/or bipolar.
