i have been watching the boards now for a week or so, after starting a prescription med
as i considered the side effects of my meds and what i already know about nutrition and supplements, it came to me last night that a number of side effects caused by meds may be caused by the depletion of nutrients required by them to work
as an example hair loss is a side effect of the med i am takng, and i realized that one of the better supplements for hair loss without meds is liquid silica..........it may be that the med is using the body's store of silica/silicon to produce its effect
i am certain that most phych meds will use up b-vitamins like crazy, and produce side effects as the vitamins themselves are no longer avialable for other physiological processes
and i am hopeful that most folks using this board are aware that many genetic traits and illnesses require much higher levels of some nutrients than so called 'normal' folks require

just a thought or two to share
