Hi Jane! I don't notice "floaters" any more or less with Lexapro, but I wondered when I first started on antidepressants over 2 years ago if the medication had something to do with an increase at that time. Now, looking back, I think it's just middle age . . . I'm nearsighted and I've also lost significantly in my closeup vision over the past 4 months, but the optomitrist says that I'm "textbook classic" and neither he nor my pdoc think that it's the medications. My understanding is that "floaters" are normal, unless you have a huge quantity, in which case you should have your eyes examined just to give yourself peace of mind.
