Thanks for the response. But no, what you said-- i understand that effect. But in addition to metabolizing certain neurotransmitters in the synapse, MAO also metabolizes certain neurotransmitters INSIDE the neuron that are not enclosed within the NT vesicles. So i was wondering, might it be bad in some way for all that extra neurotransmitters to build up inside the neuron but not be enclosed in the vesicles?
