You have a very good chance that she will recover from her symptoms, that is if no other agents cause the symptoms to progress.

Young brains are loaded with Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) This is what lets children recover so well from brain surgery, and how they can learn new languages so well.
Given time, and lots of physical stimulation (excercise, and other tactile input), there is a good chance that the brain will remap itself.


As far as drugs go, do the absolute best to keep dosages low, consider alternatives like Omega 3 (fish oil - helps ocd and ADD - kids brains suck this up like pixy sticks) and most of all,
give her lots of love.
