Meds for angry outbursts??

Got a quick question.....
Are AD's the right med when you just have these quick-tempered anger outbursts at other people or would an atypical antipsychotic be more appropriate? Not really depressed but definitely have an anger control issue and constant irritability. What would be a good med for that?
