Wellbutrin, IMHO, is safer than the amphetamines that are generally prescribed for this condition, and it is NOT addictive. It *can* be used to treat depression-related anxiety as an antidepressant, but works best with a benzo to take the edge off. I am not a younger person, but I have been using Wellbutrin for about 6 years now for depression (sub-classed OCD/adult attention deficit disorder)along with a mild benzo (Tranzene). This combination has helped me think more clearly w/o being to "hyped" up.
