You really need professional support during this time. Alcohol abuse leads to massive deficiencies in riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, B-6, B-12, and particularly, thiamine. Also, loss of magnesium and zinc in urine, and defects in vitamin A-dependent metabolism. Scurvy is a very real possibility (vitamin C deficiency).

Many of the symptoms of chronic alcohol abuse are really signs of complex malnutrition. You really ought to be supervised by someone knowledgeable in the medical complications of substance abuse and rehabilitation.

Proper diet and supplementation is probably the most appropriate care available. It can take months for the symptoms to begin to clear.
