Dopamine plays a much more complex role in the brain. Those who take dopaminergic drugs like
cocaine and or amphetamine often notice there is a greater intensity to emotion. Dopamine spices up the emotions, makes things seem interesting, but can also create powerful desires and strange drives.
When in the middle of an OC episode did something like coffee intensify your expereinece ??
