I'm "new" here, but I just read your post (I've been scanning posts for info on Lexapro and weight gain) and I just wanted to say congratulations!!! Six pounds is significant!
Because I've battled stubborn weight gain on and off for years I know that 2 or 3 pounds can be a major victory (so 6 pounds, in my book, is an incredible victory!).
I gained 50 pounds over about eight years (early menopause PLUS Prozac - a lethal combination) and it's taken me TWO years to get 25 of it off (which is an average of about a pound a month - kind of like watching an iceberg melt). It's no easy task - especially when meds are playing with your metabolism.
Congrats again, and keep up the good (and hard) work! I would be doing a happy dance, too, if I were you!
> I have actually lost 6 pounds of my Remeron weight. I am working my butt off to get rid of the weight, but I think it's gonna be worth it! LOL! Just wanted to share. It IS possible to lose the Remeron weight. Seems to be easier now that I am on the 45 mg. dose.
