Hi there,
I have the same diagnosis as you do and I'm lexapro 20 mgs now and I have been on it for over 2 months. started at 5 then 10 then 20.
I was afraid of meds and still am and I work up very slowly. I would tune into every little bodily sensation and have some whoppers like super hot flashes and stuff . Now I know for me in part it's me and my fear and the other is some side effects but I have to repeat to myself they will not hurt me. A benzo on the side helps alot when your in a panic and feel like you can't take it.
As one agoraphobic to another I think your moving to fast one thing at a time your no where near theraputic dose.
Don't give up keep fighting and try to relax.
