In reply to Fish oil--another question, posted by noa on March 1, 2003, at 22:56:44
I was pondering about buying fish oil capsules tonight, but I didn't. Can't we just eat a lot of the great-tasting fish out there like salmon, and/or sushi-I love it but I could understand people who don't. Can't we get the same omega 3 fatty acids that are in these "fish pills"????
Just a thought........

*************************************************OK, every so often there are these questions of an indelicate nature, and I can't beleive I'm writing them, but here goes:
I've been posting about my positive experiences with fish oil. But one thing that has developed that is sometimes bothersome is that it seems to make bowel movements hard, and gives slight constipation. Very slight. But this is extremely unusual for me--first time in my life as it usually tends the other way. So in a way, it is good because there are not so many trips to bathroom, more predictable, etc. Mostly, I don't mind, but every so often it is a bit uncomfortable.Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this effect.
Thanks.
