It is from years of typing on the computer. But I am glad you brought this up because my hands are worse since starting the Effexor XR about 8 months ago and my fingers are also swollen more than usual. As far as the sweating goes, I had that really bad in the beginning but it is gone now. Good luck and keep me posted about your hands.
