#1) I found that the side effects started to subside with me after about 2 weeks, like day 15

#2) I bumped up to 75mg within 3 days of starting to take Effexor

#3) None of the side effects that you listed are too surprising since I went through it as well. However, I found that they all disappeared within 2 weeks of starting the medication.

#4) Depends on what you're taking Effexor for. Like what's the worst end of the spectrum for you at the moment? Depression or Anxiety? If it's Anxiety, Effexor will work miracles. If you don't like that, then I suggest Paxil. I've heard that Paxil works much better in women than in men and with Effexor, vice versa. If it's Depression, I would suggest Celexa or Lexapro. It's all a trial and error process to find out what works best for you.
