Success of Klonopin with panic disorder

Have done the merry-go-round of meds with most success coming from Nardil. Since it's unavailable right now, I'm trying to see what my options are. Currently take a low dosage of Ativan to stay on an even keel, but am wondering what benefits any of you have seen with Klonopin in the treatment of panic disorder. Also, side effects? How long did they last? Can one still function with those side effects?
