Hi Irw. Often a med that is good for a couple of family members is the best one to try. If you give that reasonably history to a doc, there should be no problem with it being prescribed. Psychiatrists are more knowlegeable about tricyclics than family docs, so you may want to go that route unless your doc will do it. I hope Imiprimine is the right med for you. Good luck.
