I am writing about my husband who is 51 years old who has never had any problems with depression, who has never worried about anything and who has always been the strong one in our
faimly. In June he started with not being able to sleep because of a financial problem that we have and went from that to depression by September. At that point he went on serzone and was hospitalized for about 4 days. At that point the doctor said he really didn't need to be there, just continue to take the serzone (200mg twice a day). He has been off work since 9/13/02 and this is a man that never missed any time at work plus always worked on the side. It has been over eight weeks on the serzone and was showing some improvement until last week and seems to be now losing progress. He wants to go back to work and get back to a normal life style in the worst way but cannot handle any pressure. All I want to know is, should this medicine be taking this long to work, or is there anything else that we can be doing to help him get his life back to normal.
