Should I add SYNTHROID if T3/4 are normal???

Please help. I am in a really bad crash...
But I am cycling from giddy high (wee!) and happy to extremely suicidally depressed. My ECT is down to once a week and my mood is all over the map...
Pdoc doesn't know what to do. I am glad I have a treatment tomorrow. I feel really desperate.

My thyroid labs both came back normal. But my pdoc thinks adding a little synthroid will even out the cycling. Does anyone think I should add a med if my labs are normal? What side effects might I get? I ALWAYS get them, and bad. Is it worth it??? I just got off the birth control pill a couple of months ago. I am not sure I want to mess with hormones again. Mitch are you out there?
