HEY JYL
You know many people have been helped by Effexor, they truly have. My sister is one of them.
Most of the people it has worked for (the one's I've seen)say the side-effects are difficult to say the least, but eventually it has been well worth it.Are your side-effects making you WORSE than you were pre effexor over all, or just different.
Are they primarily physical or mental.Prozac was great for me for 10 years, however the first two weeks on it, my anxiety was almost intolerable. Activating A.D.'s can be like that.
They tend to raise anxiety at first but then when the depression lifts so does the anxiety. The key of course is having it lift the depression, which in my case Effexor never did.
Or perhaps it did, but I was to busy being nuts to notice.
