Hi I am new to this forum, and I currently take Dexedrine for adult ADHD, which I was diagnosed with a year ago, and Effexor XR to counteract the side effects from Dexexdrine. I read recently that a long term effect of Dexedrine was severe dermatoses, however, I cannot seem to find a more detailed description of that particular effect. Can anyone offer me any information, as I am in the process of completing a degree in law and can expect to be taking a substantial amount of this medication to succeed. I am looking for ways to decrease the meds through diet, supplements etc, but my doctor informed me that with the severity of my disorder, it is inevitable that I will be on medication if I wish to pursue a degree such as law. I am not prepared to give up my goal, so I will continue the meds because my grades have since improved with the diagnosis and treatment, but I would like to prevent whatever long term effects I can, or at least minimalize them. Any help would be greatly apreciated!!!
