“Hell no dude, John’s Wort, you can take as much as you want. It’s a herb, it’s just like eating a tree, you can eat the whole tree all day long and you’ll be fine.” ....Not the normal way that a pharmacist talks.
Are you certain he was a pharmacist & not just one of the assistants that work behind the counter that tend to the mundane stuff? They often wear the white frocks that pharmacists wear, but they have no medical or pharmaceutical training at all.
If he is a bonafide pharmacist, I think it may be an idea to report him before his stupidity harms someone unintentionally.
