Hi Anna,

How long have you been on the zoloft? The anti-anxiety effects of the SSRIs build up very slowly over time, and higher doses are often required when treating social phobia. People with anxiety disorders like quick fixes, but unfortunately it takes time. Interestingly, there was a recent study that cited duration of treatment as the only significant predictor of response to Paxil for social phobia -- many nonresponders at week 8 were responders at week 12. Anyway, with the Klonopin, I'd add it if you've already given zoloft a fair trial by itself or if you need it to be more comfortable while you're waiting for the zoloft kick in.

hang in there,
Jon
