I think yes, in some communities, there are welcome messages etc, but I think this one is not like that and for some reason I never expected it. Maybe because so many people just come and go or just check in once in a while. It seems like it is more of a fact-oriented community, talking about meds and all that. Sorry you were offended, I don't think anybody meant to make you feel that way.
