Oh my god!!! That's horrible. What kind of care are you getting? Is this through an HMO or something?
I have always had pdocs at a major hospital here in LA. It's a sliding scale program - at the time I started, I needed the monetary break. But now, I stick with them because they really are good. They are residents, but they are extremely thorough and responsive. How are you finding these pdocs? There is absolutely NO excuse for you waiting 6 days to hear from your doc. The most I've ever waited was about half a day.
