Hi,
There's a scary infomercial on tv, about how a bad diet like mine can completely destroy the absorption of nutrients. The doctor covers a sponge w/a paste of white flour and water and lays it in a dye and when he raises it hardly any of the dye ("nutrients") have clung to the sponge. He says this is how the intestinal track works.
He's selling a cleansing system that is supposed to get rid of the white flour coating so the nutrients can get into the body, but it's expensive and I don't know if I should save up to order it or what. I am just now making tentative steps, w/the help of folks on this board, to introduce nutrients into my body and I've spent a month's of wages on supplements and powders and stuff already. I'm worried that this is a waste of money, since I've lived on pizza and burgers all my life, if anyone has an impenetrable sponge it has to be me.
I was wondering if, to save the expense could I go on a fiber diet to clean things up, Metamucill I can afford!!
Thanks for your response,
trouble
