My doctor had me stop taking Luvox anyways because I was developing a rash. (What does the rash mean?) I could have been allergic to it.
The come-down was horribly strong, with a headache and anxiety attack. I was exercising at my college and believed that I was having an asthma attack! (Even tho' I've never had asthma before.)
I'm sad, because the experience of feeling happy briefly was so positive.
I have been on another antidepressant, serzone, for a while. It seems to have lost its effectiveness for me. I was coming off of that while starting up the Luvox, so that could have affected my response.
Unfortunately, my depression is due in part to hypothyroidism and is likely to be persistent.
Woud you all suggest that I try another SSRI? I'm going to try to call my doctor tomorrow.
Thanks,
Elisa
