I'll give you a freebee since I banned myself from this
board.I got the german pdr translated to english.
I think you probably just dosed it too fast it
is just making you dizzy.I think 10 mg TID may do the trick. And the
dizzyniss should subside. You may want to start
with 10 mg BID if the dizziness is really bad.But the side effect is definately memantine.
If you want the english pdr, contact the
american company ntii. www.ntii.com.
they will send you a translation.
Although it sounds like you are german.good luck.
let us know how it goes.

> As my adderall has long stopped working, my doctor and I have decided upon the remarkable remedy suggested on this board, viz., antagonism of NMDA receptors in hopes of resetting glutameric activity by methlyated amantadine. I have been on Memantine HCL for two days now: yesterday approx. 50mg, and today 10mg qid.

If not that, then could an anti-cholinergic condition be manifesting, possibly exacerbated by 60mg once daily prozac. I know acetylchlorinergic-'ase' activity is invloved in glutamate signalling.

Not much is known about the metabolism or removal of NMDA transmitter in the brain, could it be that the residual levels of glutamate transmitter, consequenced by the Adderall, pass by diffusion and require more time than actilvely catabolized neurotransmitter? (eg. COMT & MAOI) Also, should stimulants be taken during the memantine trial, or abstained from?
