My wife started Neurontin about 4mos. ago at 300mgs @ bedtime. About 1.5 mos. ago they raised the dose to 400 @ BT. She says it does seem to help her sleep through the night. Neurontin has a very short half life & needs to be taken several times a day to maintain a theraputic blood level. Since she is only taking it @night I don't think she is getting much relief during the day. She is concerned it might cause daytime drowsiness which would be unacceptable in her job. Good luck

ps Did you check the archives here for more info?
> thanks for you info. it is so strange that these meds can help such a variety of problems! i just hate that i can't find much information on it other than for it's anti-convulsant use. how long has your wife used it and has it helped her pain?
