My psoraisis is marked worse lately. I never consider the possibitlity that Celexa was a factor. My assumption is that the 400 mgs of Neurontin I take is causing all the drying and cracking of my skin. Everytime I try to increase the Neurontin, I wake up the next morning feeling my skin and scalp all tight and dry. I have had to decrease my showering to every other day. I just don't produce any oils anymore.

So, yes, psych meds definitely affect the skin in my case. I sure wish there were some solution to the dryness. Especially since I am finding this med regime somewhat helpful.

HOWEVER, as you said, psoriasis does flare and wane. Perhaps the initiation of Celexa in your case, has caused some sort of stress reaction in your body, that has caused a flare up??? I do hope things settle down for you soon.
