I agree with Tony. Don't go into this without a lawyer. Tell your lawyer about the meds but let him do the talking in court. I had a DWI a couple of years ago and thanks to having a lawyer I got it reduced to reckless driving. I still had to pay the lawyer $300 and a fine of $500 but I don't have that DWI on my liscense for the next ten years and the insurance increases that go with it. Also, through discovery he may find a way to get you off the hook completely.
