librium: how addictive?

I am on librium (chlorodiazepoxide) 10mg four times a day.
It works great, i've never slept better and felt calm.
(i guess you dont know you have anxiety until its gone.)
I am a little worried because it is a benzodiazepine, and i feel afraid I might become addicted, or the doctor will worry i will become addicted and cut me off.
How addictive are they?
how long can you stay on them, months? years?
