Hi Lawrence,
I can tell you that the feelings you are experiencing ara
called depersonalization. The question is what
is causing this depersonalization. It could be
caused by Temporal Lobe Epilepsey, or it
could be cause by a psychological disorder like
anxiety, depression, or OCD. Or it could be the
Marfans. Whatever it is, I know that it is very
distressing, since I also have this problem. Mine
is caused by anxiety/OCD/depression. I recommend
you talk to your doctor about this. Also, the
web site:has other fellow depersonalization sufferers. The
good thing is that you know you are not alone.Good luck,
dude

It is so scarey that I feel like I'm becoming psychotic. It started on vacation about 7 years ago. I also have Marfans syndrome which causes my heart to not pump enough blood to my brain at times. Could this be a lack of blood to my brain?
