If you are only mildly depressed I'd say stick to 75 or half it in the capsule.
If your are not having bad physical side effects I would consider staying with it at low dose. Soon it may help the anxiety, it certainly did with me. I felt very content inside on it.

......Thanks Mike... I think this is the most
objective, honest, informative, post on effexor I have read. I have been trying to stay positive as I've begun effexor, but reading all these posts about the withdrawls freaked me out, the same as you.
