Scott,
Sorry if I was confusing. My thoughts are not working well this week. I am very depressed. My depression, which is being treated with meds for only the second time in my life, has gotten worse and worse every year. This has been the worse 6 months of my life. The depression has caused memory problems and lots of concentration problems not to mention the addition of anxiety and anxiety attacks. My fatigue I also blame on my depression. I can blame a lot on depression. :)
Effexor has cause minimal side effects with me (compared to those I read on this page). But I really think what you say about drugs in general. Some people even use drugs because they find the side effects enjoyable (ie alcohol or diet drugs)! I don't care what comes in the future, long term effects, withdrawl, la tee da. As long as the drugs keep the depression at bay, I can deal with my life. Depression has stolen my life and effexor is helping me regain it.
